Mount Igman is not just the scenery for this challenge. During the siege of Sarajevo, it became a lifeline, a passage, and a place where faith was kept alive under pressure.In 1993, soldiers built a mosque on this mountain — on the road they called Allah's road — under constant artillery fire.

THE RATNA DZAMIJA
The route ends at the Ratna Dzamija, the War Mosque, built in the winter of 1993 by soldiers who needed it more than they needed ammunition.

The Bosnia Challenge brings together Qur’an memorization and endurance in one unforgettable experience.
Memorize Surah Al-Kahf, recite it and climb 21.1km to the War Mosque on the mountain that kept Sarajevo alive.
This Challenge asks for your endurance, your patience, and the strength to keep conquering when the nafs starts searching for an exit.
